recently, i had a patient who was having her period and she didnt bring any with her. so she wanted to re-wear her old pad. i told her that i'll give her mine and i did. the next day, she bought a whole pack of pads and gave them to me.
i told her that i cant accept anything from my patients but she insisted and even left it on the table for me. at first, i ignored it, ignored the green and pink packaging sitting on the table, being ignored by the general patient and staff population.
then the staff said to me, can you please take it away?
i told her, what? but i dont waaannntttt...!
just throw it somewhere. anyone can use.
so i chucked it in the prep room, with the disposable undies.
then today, i got my period and have no pads. then, tada, i remembered the pack of pads. so, tada!
KARMA.
i went back home, worry-free.
